 GROUP 5  : THAT ENGLISH SHOULD BE THE ONLY MEDIUM IN DESIGN

Assalamualaikum and very good evening to our lecturer Doc.Tan Wee Hoe and to all my fellow friends. For my opinion, I’m not disagree with affirmative timeline opinion about their said that english  should be the only medium in design because for me there are certain people who cannot understand very well about the true motive and design function if only use the english  languages as a medium in design.  So we need to use the variety languages to make people understanding very well about the design especially the design aesthetics. Furthermore we should to uphold our languages and promote our own languages also go to international level. Besides that we had many own languages as we know our country have a different race and culture,so with this variety race we have a lot unique languages to show for the world. In addition with this variety languages in our country according to our different race and culture, each people can choose any languages to make easier for them to better understanding about the design very well  and can make easier for them to understood about the design. I said like this because certain people cannot communication very well if only used english languages as a medium in design.

Besides that for my opinion also not only using english can make our design go international level. This is because we can used our own languages to promote our design because as we know our country consists variety a unique multi languages. So with that we can show to the world that our design can be a greatest design with using variety unique languages and can be accept for the world. Besides that it can make the world realize about the advantages of the existing languages in our design making. We also can attract a good attention from the world about design that we produced and show to them not only use english can be a good medium in design but we still have the other unique own languages else to promote our design go to international level.

So for my conclusion ,I’m not disagree not only  english        languages should be used as a medium in design but we should use our own languages  to promote our design for go international level. That’s all ,thank you.

TITLE THE VIDEO:MOST SAD ADVERTISEMENT...

 In my opinion, the chosen advertisement for this aesthetics evolution is instruction, advice, etc. Critique based on design aesthetics language. One criteria has been set based on Relativism:

1.Audience can see a loving father. He loving his daughter very much.

2.Audience can see a sacrifice from a father . He donate his blood for his daughter to saved him daughter life because a father don’t want to lose him.

3.Audience also can watch in this video about responsibility father. He work hardly and always advice his daughter.

4.Audience also can feel sadness and sympathy after watch this video and can feel very pity to the father on this video.

5.Audience should be kindness and appreciated their parents very well and take care of them and also respect them when they still alive.

6.Audience also can see a regret daughter on this video because not appreciated his father very well, the daughter started realised that she done a mistake because not appreciated him father before.

In Aesthetics, relativism  meaning a theory that conceptions of  truth and moral values to the person or groups holding them. In addition, relativism also meaning philosophical doctrine that all criteria of judgments are relative to  can make  individuals and situations involved. According to the most sad tv advertisement that my group chosen, many moral values that audience can get after watching this video and it depends for individual perceptions. For my opinion, after watch this video audience can felt and watch a loving father for his daughter. According to the behaviour this video show how a father love him daughter very much until he sacrifice to donate his blood for his daughter because a father want to saved his daughter life because that only one child he have in him life and he don’t want to lose him lovely daughter according for this condition. For the degree that we can make conclusion, all audience can felt and see this loving father to his son and also audience can make a truth judgments and can explain and furthermore can feelings the meanings of love especially in human life. Besides after watching this video also, the other moral values audience can see is about a responsibility father .For example we can looked for his behaviour, a father very  responsibility person he work hardly to give pleasure to his son and also he want to see his daughter happy and furthermore a father also caring for his daughter and always give advice to his son to take care himself and be happy as well. In this video also the condition audience can get is we need to learn how to be a responsibility father and take care our son same with this character in this video ,,this condition will make audience learned to more appreciated his father. So for the degree about this, learned to be a responsible son and love father very much as him loving you so well.

                   In addition the other moral values audience can get after watching this video is every audience also can feel sadness and sympathy to character father on this video advertisement because the behaviour of father him cannot speak very well because dumb. In this condition, this father only showing his caring and loving to his son only with him behaviour not with words. The degree on this video is all audience can feel sadness feelings for the father because he don’t care what the other people say about him but he only want to make his daughter to be happy and accept him very well. In addition, audience also can see a regret daughter because not appreciated  his father very well after watching this video. According to the behaviour, a daughter realised that her father really love him very much until donate him blood to saved she life .In this condition we realised that teach and also audience could get after watching this video, as a son audience need to appreciated parents when they still alive and thankful for them for all the lack of because aportunity appears only come one more time in a lifetime. So for the degree in this concept audience should be able to appreciate parents very well and take care of them . Soon audience should appreciated parents. The condition that i understand after watching the sad video is if we still have father dumb and deaf as a daughter we need to learn and understand their speech and do not let the father feel hurt and sad because of our father’s condition. The conclusion of degree is we such as daughter should take care of their feelings and loving them very well. Relativism is the concept that points of view have no absolute truth but only having relative subjective value according to differences in perception and consideration. In this video advertisement audience ,It show a kindness and have a lot of love by a father, audience can watch that a father willing to sacrifice to show affection and great appreciation to his daughter.  A father donate blood to safe his daughter life.

ARGUEMENTS:

I chosen to critique about emotivism that chosen by my partner. I agree with my opinion by my partner about in this video, my partner explain that most audience will be able to feel touching and feel sad when see this advertisement in media and then their cry. In this advertisement it showing about the enormity of the sacrifice was appreciated but instead makes father sad. Besides that, when first time watching this advertisement video, audience maybe can feel very sad but after watching this same video many times audience could be feel sad but not even shed tears. In addition i also agree with my partner about audience should be kindness and loving their parents. All human in this life should be kindness and love their parents  although their parents still alive and we should thankful for them even our parent is poor but as a daughter we should always accept them very well because parents give life to us for breathing in this world.

The emotions as a problem to be ov research also focused upon negative emotions.  Furhtermore emotions play a critical role in a daily lives,as I discussed emotions aid in decision making, but positive emotions The issue aesthetics that was describe by author in this book was about two japaness researchers,Masaaki kurosa and Kaori kashimura.They studied different layouts of controls for ATM,the Japanese found that the attractive ones were perceived to be easier to use. Like Tractinsky said,aesthetic preference are culturally dependent. Futhermore,Japanese culture is known for its aesthetics tradition and he belief that aesthetics were not expected to correlate.  Like author said,for example at 1900s,Herbert read who wrote numerous books on art and aesthetics requires a mystical theoryof aesthetics to find any necessary connection between beauty and function.  The author had started a research project examining the interaction of affect,behaviour and cognition but Tranctinsky’s results bothered me. I realized they fit with the new framework that my research collaborators and i were constructing as well as with new findings in the study of affect and emotion.  Emotions we now know,change the way that human mind solves problems and the emotional system change how the cognitive system operates.  So,if aesthetics would change our emotional state,that would explain t ercome by rational and logical thinking. But myhe mystery.  In addition,emotion was an explored part of human psychology so that we need to thought of very important because it critical to learning.  I curiosly and today my research is turning toward this dimension.  We have known that when people are anxious, they tend to narrow their thought process, directly relevant to a problem.These and relatied findings suggest the role of aesthetics in product design, attractive things make people feel good which in turn makes them think more creatively.  In today’s world of compute controlled products, doing the same operation over again is very unlikely to yield better results.  The correct response s to look for alternative solutions.  Human beings have evolved million of years to function effectively.  Affect emotion and cognition have also evolved to interact with and complement one another.  In addition, includes emotion, it makes value judgments the better to survive.

My studies of emotion with my colleague Andrew Ortony and William Revelle,professors in the phychology department at northwestern university,they suggest that these human attributes result from three different levels of the brain.  The automatic prewired layer called the visceral level the part that contains the brain process control behaviour, known as the behavioural level and the contemplative part of the brain or the reflective level.  Each level plays a different role in the total functioning of people,human being have more developed set of brain structures.  The behavioral level successfully drive your automobile subconsciously thinking of something at the reflective level.  The three levels interact with one another.  These terms come from the standard way of showing the processing structure of the brain. The result is that everything you do has both a cognitive and affective component.  When you are in negative affect,feeling anxious focus the brain processing but when you of positive affect,the opposite actions take place.  Positive affect curiosity and makes the brain into an effective learning organism.

The 2 role that must have in design,first someone who is happy more able to overlook and cope with minor problems especially if its fun to work it and the second when people are anxious,they are most focused.   So where this is likely to be the case,the designer must pay attention to ensure that all the information required to do the task.  Designers can get away with more if the product is fun and enjoyable,now the design team must considered attention to detail,this is one reason people often impose deadlines on themselves.  It is tricky to design things that must accommodate both creative thinking and focus.

This statement explain about individual conception of beauty with reference to particular aesthetics. In this story its about Andrew a friend author.  Andrew bought a lovely leather box and said to author to open that box,when the author opened the box,his very excited and impressed him to see inside the box that have a gleaming stainless-steel of set mechanical old drawing instruments,compases,extension arms,lead holders and also pens inside the box.  The author said the box was very beauty and unique because the box was drew by hand and not by computer.  This show for author a value aesthetics and beauty art inside the lovely box.  In addition,this story shows the several levels of the cognitive and emotional system.  It show the author was very impressed with the lovely box that have a many high value aesthetics .His respects the beauty and value of art that have inside the box because aesthetics value is a judgment of value based on the appearance of an object and the emotional response it evokes.  While it is difficult to objectively assess aesthetics value,it often becomes an important determining factor in overall value, things people perceive as attractive tend to be in higher demand and will cost more than comparable objects without the aesthetics component.

Aesthetics is a branch of philosophy dealing with the nature of beauty,art and taste and with the creation and appreaciation  of beauty.  It’s more scientifically defined as the study of sensory or sensori-emational values,sometimes called sentiment and taste.  More broadly scholars in the field define aesthetics as critical reflection on art,culture and nature.

The second position holds that beauty is subjective, in that it depends on the attitude of the observer. Immanuel Kant argued that judgments of taste, as he called aesthetic judgments, rest on feelings, which, though subjective, have universal validity. The instrumental theory of value, an extension of subjectivism, holds that the value of art consists in its capacity to produce an aesthetic experience.

Course of events has given to the genius idea to study the idea of freedom and also art aesthetic.Art is needed rules and spiritual art.  By philosophers,spiritual art will damage the imagination and boundaries of art,after that philosophers turned to political threater of human destiny is byacting.  Principal social and moral principles is essential to every human being as both the subject and accordingly result,depth to all people in this thinking because it looks like a question that can only be resolved by law and determined by the judges.  Therefore,it is clear that in order to investigate these objects to determine a relevant question powerful,but mind so much think separated by worldly position and schiller states can not just have a reason,but profer that a strong reason for arriving at a political solution to the problem way must be pursued for aesthetic because aesthetic is a beauty.
